ASU Athletics Week in Review: June 17-23

It might be the dog days of summer but Arizona State basketball still added a big time veteran to replace Evan Gordon this past week.

Another week gone in the dog days of summer and yet we still had a lot of news in the world of Arizona State athletics. The men's basketball team added a junior college player to their backcourt and the ASU hockey team added a new forward to its club.

Shaquille McKissic Transfers to Arizona State: The Sun Devils added a junior college combo guard this week, as Edmonds JC guard Shaquille McKissic made it official that he will transfer to ASU. McKissic only has one year of eligibility remaining and should compete for playing time alongside Jahii Carson in the ASU backcourt.

  • The Arizona State baseball team has 18 players competing on collegiate summer league teams. Three Sun Devils will compete in the prestigious Cap Cod Baseball League and six Sun Devils will play in the New England Collegiate League.
