Another week gone in the dog days of summer and yet we still had a lot of news in the world of Arizona State athletics. The men's basketball team added a junior college player to their backcourt and the ASU hockey team added a new forward to its club.

The Best Moment of 2012-2013 Bracket Release: House of Sparky is trying to find out what the best moment from this past year in ASU athletics was. We asked for fans submissions and took your submissions and placed them into a bracket. Your vote will determine what was the most memorable moment from the 2012-2013 ASU athletic year.
Shaquille McKissic Transfers to Arizona State: The Sun Devils added a junior college combo guard this week, as Edmonds JC guard Shaquille McKissic made it official that he will transfer to ASU. McKissic only has one year of eligibility remaining and should compete for playing time alongside Jahii Carson in the ASU backcourt.
Ranking the Pac-12 Wide Receivers: We continue in our House of Sparky Pac-12 positional previews and this week the wide receivers are up. Find out which team we believe has the strongest wide receivers and where we placed Arizona State.

- The Arizona State baseball team has 18 players competing on collegiate summer league teams. Three Sun Devils will compete in the prestigious Cap Cod Baseball League and six Sun Devils will play in the New England Collegiate League.
