Do you love America? Do you love bright and shiny explosions? Will you be in the Tempe area this Fourth of July?
If you answered yes to all three of these questions, then you're in luck; Tempe Beach Park will again be hosting their annual fireworks festival this Independence Day and there still are some tickets for sale.
Admission is $8.00 at the gate ($15.00 dollars for two) with children 12 and under and anyone with an active military ID being admitted for free. General admission tickets will also be sold at any Fry's Food Stores locations at the discounted rate of $5.00.
The gates open at 5:00 pm with the big sky spectacle set for 9:15 pm. In between that time, there will be a kinds of live performers including Free Ride in a Mason Jar, The Big Zephyr, Laura Walsh and Grand Theft Audio 3 (a regular Woodstock, right?).
No food or coolers will be allowed inside the event but Tempe Town Lake officials are allowing one gallon of sealed water per person as well as blankets, portable chairs, cameras and umbrellas.
