Perfect Game and Baseball America released their 2014 college baseball preseason rankings Monday morning, but only one included Arizona State baseball.

Perfect Game's Kendall Rogers placed the Sun Devils, who finished 37-22-1 last season, at No. 18 in his initial rankings, up seven spots from his preseason rankings a year ago.

The Sun Devils were the lowest-ranked of Perfect Game's four Top 25 Pac-12 teams, with the other three all in the Top 10, led by Oregon State at No. 3.

Only one of the Sun Devils' non-conference opponents, Oklahoma State (No. 23), was ranked by Rogers.

Aaron Fitt of Baseball America didn't include the Sun Devils in his Top 25, but said they were one of a few teams that fell right outside his rankings:

Fitt had just three Pac-12 teams in his Top 25, but had the Beavers at No. 2 and defending national champion UCLA at No. 12.

Rogers and Fitt both had Virginia at No. 1 and the SEC had the most ranked teams in each of their rankings.
