Arizona State has revealed a new pair of gloves for the players to wear just in time for their Saturday night matchup with Stanford.
The gloves are designed to spell out ASU when they're put together in the form of how a wide receiver prepares to catch a pass. The Sun Devils also had special gloves in the Notre Dame game last season that spelled out "Nike" in similar fashion on the gloves.
Earlier this week, the official Arizona State equipment room Twitter account hinted that something would be changed about the uniforms on Saturday.
Something up our sleeves for our #MaroonMonsoon this year... It'll be subtle but very cool. #cantwait #sundevilswag

This is the second new piece of a uniform that has been unveiled prior to a "Maroon Monsoon" game. Last season, the Sun Devils wore maroon helmets with the big pitchfork on one side and a number on the other for the first time.
