Brendan Bailey, a small forward from the class of 2016, committed to play his collegiate level hoops for ASU late Sunday night per Chris Karpman of ASUdevils.com

Bailey, who stands 6-foot-8 and 160 pounds, is a four-star recruit and is No. 79 nationally in his class according to Rivals. ESPN ranks Bailey as a three-star recruit who is the No.23 small forward in the country and the No. 5 best player in the state of Utah. Scout ranks Bailey as a four-star recruit, who is No. 66 in his class and No. 17 at his position.
Bailey currently attends American Fork High School in American Fork, Utah. He also had offers from Utah, Southern Utah, BYU and Tulsa according to Rivals.
Brendan's sister BreElle is a sophomore outside hitter on the ASU volleyball team. His father is former NBA player Thurl Bailey, who spent 12 years in and out of the NBA, and played for the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 12.8 points and 3.7 rebounds during his time in the league.
