After finding themselves just outside the top 10 last week, Arizona State found their way to No. 7 in the AP Poll this week, up from No. 11 last week. The Sun Devils also ranked No. 8 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

After jumping out to a 34-3 lead over Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish returned the favor with 28 unanswered points to bring the lead to 34-31. Taylor Kelly then led the Sun Devils down the field and connected with freshman Demario Richard on a 4-yard pass with just over four minutes left to give Arizona State a 10-point cushion. The maroon and gold went on to win 55-31. Notre Dame dropped from No. 8 to No. 15 in the AP Poll after the loss.

Oregon also found themselves in a close game, up just 30-27 over Utah in the fourth quarter. The Ducks then took control with three straight touchdowns to win the game by a larger margin 51-27. Oregon moved up to No. 3 with the win. Utah dropped from No. 20 to No. 25 in defeat.

UCLA's win over Washington was never in doubt. The Bruins jumped out to a 14-0 lead on a 57-yard touchdown pass to Kenneth Walker and slowly built their lead as the game wore on. Washington tried to mount a fourth quarter comeback to no avail. UCLA jumps up to No. 14 with the win.

Arizona, like everyone else in the Pac-12 this season, took care of business against Colorado, Saturday. The game was close throughout with the Wildcats taking just a 24-20 lead into the fourth quarter. Two fourth quarter touchdowns by the Wildcats sealed the win for Arizona. They moved up to No. 17 in the AP Poll.

The Sun Devils travel to Corvallis, Oregon next weekend to play the Oregon State Beavers with a 7:45 PT/8:45 MT kickoff on ESPN. Arizona State is currently ranked No. 9 in the College Football Playoff rankings, which will be released again on Tuesday.
