ASU Football: Six Sun Devils named All-Pac-12 Conference selections

The All-Pac-12 teams are named annually to recognize the best of the best at each position in the Pac-12 Conference. This season, six Sun Devils made the list.

Jaelen Strong was named first team All-Pac-12 wide receiver after hauling in 75 catches for 1,062 yards and 10 touchdowns. It's a minor victory after he was snubbed from the Biletnikoff Award finalists last week, Strong was second team All-Pac-12 last season. D.J. Foster was awarded second team All-Pac-12 running back, accumulating 1,002 yards on the ground with nine touchdowns. He was an honorable mention last year. Foster also had 646 yards receiving to total 1,648 all-purpose yards.

Offensive lineman Jamil Douglas also took home All-Pac-12 first team honors after he was a second team selection last season. Center Nick Kelly took home All-Pac-12 second team honors.

On the defensive side of the ball, Damarious Randall was named a first team All-Pac-12 selection after leading the Sun Devils with 101 tackles and three interceptions. On special teams, Zane Gonzalez was named second team All-Pac-12 kicker after making 47 of 49 extra points and 19 of 24 field goals

DJ Calhoun, Marcus Hardison, Salamo Fiso, Lloyd Carrington, Jordan Simone, Demario Richard, Christian Westerman, Vi Teofilo, and Laiu Moeakiola were named All-Pac-12 honorable mentions.

Offensive Player of the Year: Marcus Mariota, QB Oregon

Defensive Player of the Year: Scooby Wright, LB Arizona

Coach of the Year: Rich Rodriguez, Arizona

Freshman Offensive Player of the Year: Royce Freeman, RB Oregon

Freshman Defensive Player of the Year: Adoree Jackson, DB USC
