1. Arizona Wildcats (23-2, 10-2) Last Week: 1
Despite falling to Arizona State on the road last Friday, few would argue that Arizona is not the best team in the Pac-12. The Wildcats are balanced on offense and one of the best defensive teams in the nation. Arizona will look to get back on track this weekend against the Rocky Mountain schools.
2. UCLA Bruins (20-5, 9-3) Last Week: 2
The Bruins beat Colorado and Utah by 18 points and 14 points respectively last week, a feat which is not easy to do. With Arizona's defeat last week, UCLA now sits just one game back in the Pac-12 standings.
3. Arizona State Sun Devils (19-6, 8-4) Last Week: 3
The Sun Devils have a strong case for being No. 2 this week, as they became only the second team to beat Arizona in 2014. The Sun Devils proved they belong among the elite in the Pac-12 and if the Bruins had lost a game last week Arizona State would be No. 2.
However we cannot bump UCLA down a spot when it beat Utah and Colorado each by double figures.
4. Colorado Buffaloes (19-7, 8-5)
The Buffaloes went 1-1 on the trip to Los Angeles this past weekend, including an 18-point loss to UCLA. The Buffaloes are 0-4 against the top three teams in the Pac-12, however remain in tournament contention with an RPI of 26.
5. California Golden Bears (17-8, 8-4) Last Week: 6
The Golden Bears needed overtime to beat Washington State in Pullman last week, however Cal escaped their trip up north with a much needed sweep. Cal remains on the bubble with an RPI of 43 and it will get a chance to boost the resume when it hosts UCLA on Wednesday.
6. Stanford Cardinal (16-8, 7-5) Last Week: 5
Stanford continues to fight for its tournament life, and the Cardinal did not help themselves with a loss to Washington over the past weekend. Four of Stanford's final six games are against RPI top 50 teams.
7. Utah Utes (17-8, 6-7) Last Week: 7
The Utes went 1-1 against the Los Angeles schools last week. Their 14-point loss against UCLA was its first Pac-12 defeat by more than 10 points.
8. Washington Huskies (14-12, 6-7) Last Week: 8
Washington was able to beat Stanford by four points last week, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Huskies have lost four of their last five games.
9. Oregon Ducks (16-8, 4-8) Last Week: 10
Oregon moves up one spot in this week's rankings after beating Oregon State by 10. Oregon's tournament hopes remain on life support, and the Ducks need to sweep the Washington schools this week.
10. Oregon State Beavers (13-11, 6-7) Last Week: 9
Oregon State has now lost three straight games and the small tournament hopes the Beavers had are now all gone.
11. Washington State Cougars (9-16, 2-11)
Washington State proved that there are no easy games on the road in the Pac-12 as they took Cal to overtime in Pullman on Wednesday. However, Washington State is 1-8 over its last nine games.
12. USC Trojans (10-15, 1-11) Last Week: 12
USC has not won a game since January 22 and the Trojans have only won one game on the road this season.
