For folks who watched the Pac-12 Championship game in December, viewers know that Arizona State's greatest need for talent comes on the offensive line. On National Signing Day, the Sun Devils are taking steps to address that need as they have received a letter of intent from offensive tackle commit Sam Jones.

Jones is a 3-star recruit according to both Rivals and Scout and is considered one of the top recruits in the state of Colorado. Scout ranks Jones as the 54th best offensive tackle recruit in the country.
At 6-foot-5, Jones has the body type of a college-ready offensive tackle and comes out of Thunderridge High School with room to add to his 275-pound frame.
Jones committed to Arizona State back in October shortly after an official visit that he made over the weekend of Oct. 18. According to Jones's Scout profile, the Colorado native only made two official visits as he also visited Oregon back in August.
The Sun Devils can take pride in stealing Jones away from not only Oregon, but a number of other interested schools. Jones's Scout profile lists offers from Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas State and Oregon State.
Arizona State graduates left tackle Evan Finkenberg who started for four years on the Sun Devils' offensive line and though Jones will probably take a redshirt year, he could fill in for Finkenberg down the line.
