The Arizona State Sun Devils have picked up a letter of intent from cornerback Chad Adams out of Allen, Texas. Adams signed his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, thus officially becoming a Sun Devil.

Adams starred for Allen High School, which won the Texas 5A Division 1 State Championship in 2013. Allen finished the season ranked as the best high school football team in Texas and the No. 2 team in the country according to MaxPreps.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound cornerback is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, ESPN and Scout. Adams is ranked as the No. 72 cornerback in the nation by ESPN and No. 47 by Scout.
Adams held offers from Baylor, Kansas, Rice, Connecticut, Yale and Washington among others. He is clocked in the 40-yard-dash at 4.4 seconds and he has a vertical leap of 35 inches according to Rivals.
