The Arizona State Sun Devils have seen success taking players from the junior college ranks under Todd Graham, and one player who liked what he saw was cornerback Kweishi Brown.

Brown played his junior college ball at Grossmont Community College in Southern California. The community college landscape in Southern California has been kind to the Sun Devils as it has blessed them with wide receiver standout Jaelen Strong and 2014 recruit Eric Lauderdale.

At 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, Brown became a standout at the junior college level with his knack for finding the football and excellent closing speed at the cornerback position.

Brown made an official visit to Arizona State over the weekend of Jan. 17 which is when many Sun Devil verbal commits also visited the school.

According to Rivals, Brown is the 29th best junior college recruit for the Class of 2014 and the fourth highest-rated defensive back. Brown is one of the highest-rated three star recruits at the junior college level according to Rivals, and he will have two years of eligibility to compete with the Sun Devils.

Brown's Rivals profile shows that the cornerback drew a lot of interest from high-profile FBS programs including scholarship offers from Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas State, Nebraska, Washington and West Virginia.

Arizona State could use help in the secondary after the graduation of Osahon Irabor and Robert Nelson and Brown certainly looks like he could become a difference-maker as soon as this fall.
