Heading into National Signing Day on Wednesday, Sun Devil nation was eagerly awaiting the announcement of 4-star athlete and "soft verbal" commit Kalen Ballage. Now, it looks like Arizona State and Ballage's other potential schools will have to wait one more day.

According to tweets from Tyler Ziskin and the Falcon School District in Falcon Colorado, the public schools in Falcon, Colo. are shut down due to a snow day.

Ballage was expected to make an announcement regarding his future at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday with fellow athletes at Falcon High School, but the athletes' ceremony has been pushed back until tomorrow because of the school closure.

As of now, it is unclear whether Ballage will still fax in his letter of intent to his school of choice on Wednesday or wait until Thursday's ceremony.

Aside from Arizona State, Rivals lists scholarship offers from schools around the country including Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and more for Ballage. The highly-sought after talent took his official visits to Arizona State, UCLA, Washington and Colorado.

According to Rivals.com, Ballage is a 4-star "athlete" and the sixth highest-rated athlete in the country. Scout.com considers Ballage a running back instead of an "athlete" and only lists Ballage as a 3-star recruit.

Ballage's highlight film shows a great downhill burst and a low-pad level that should help ease his transition to the college level. In high school, Ballage played both running back and linebacker and spent time at a few other positions as well. His versatility suits any team well, which is why the Sun Devils are sitting by the fax machines and hoping that Ballage joins the program.
