The mass exodus from the Arizona State basketball team continues as guard Egor Koulechov is transferring after one season in Maroon and Gold, according to Doug Haller. This comes hours after news broke this morning that backup point guard Brandon Kearney would be leaving the program.
Haller broke the news Thursday afternoon on Twitter.
Confirmed that freshman G/F Egor Koukechov also is leaving Arizona State. He could've helped next year.

Koulechov averaged 14 minutes per game last season, although that number dropped considerably in conference play. He averaged 3.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in his freshman season at Arizona State. Koulechov was expected to compete for playing time next season in the Arizona State backcourt.
Koulechov joins Kearney, Calean Robinson and Bo Barnes as players to transfer this offseason. Arizona State also lost assistant coach Eric Musselman and 2014 signee Octavius Ellis, who was released from his scholarship last week.
According to State Press basketball writer Josh Nacion, the Sun Devils will return just four players from the 2013-2014 squad.
With Brandan Kearney and Egor Koulechov reportedly leaving ASU, Gilling, Murray, Jacobsen and Tummala appear to be the only returners.

The Sun Devils currently have five players signed for their 2014 recruiting class and are expected to bring in at least one transfer player.
