Arizona State has picked up its last commitment of its 2014 recruiting class in junior college transfer Willie Atwood. His teammate tweeted out a picture of Atwood signing with the Sun Devils earlier this afternoon.

Atwood, a four-star JUCO recruit and third team NJCAA All-American, stands 6-foot-8 and hails from Connors State College (Okla.). He's an athletic forward, can play a mixture of the 3 and 4 spots and averaged 20.8 points and 9.0 rebounds per game last season.
Atwood's recruitment was tough to judge given he kept his recruitment tight-lipped. Florida State and Iowa were the other two teams in the running for Atwood's services. He visited the Hawkeyes in late March, Tallahassee on Apr. 10 and finally Arizona State this past weekend for the annual football spring game.
The Sun Devils, who lacked front court depth now has somewhat of an overcrowding problem. Local incoming freshman Connor MacDougall, incoming transfers, Savon Goodman and Atwood as well as junior veteran Eric Jacobsen will all have a chance at the starting forward and center spots come the fall.
Considering that just a few weeks ago the Sun Devils had three players transfer, things are looking up again for the Arizona State basketball program with the addition of Goodman, Atwood and Peery.
Atwood helped Connors State to a 24-9 (12-6) record last season on a team that was third in the NJCAA in rebounds per game.
