ASU Football: Uniforms vs. Colorado announced

See what Arizona State will be wearing when they visit Boulder this weekend

Another week, another new Sun Devil uniform.

On Thursday the team announced that when they make the trip one state up to Colorado for Saturday's conference opener against the Buffaloes, they'll be donning a combination of maroon-white-maroon.

In their first two wins of 2014, Arizona State has donned their traditional gold helmet, pairing it with maroon jerseys for the season opener against Weber State and white jerseys last week at New Mexico.

Arizona State boasts an 8-3 record when wearing the maroon helmets, with their last usage of this uniform coming against Texas Tech in Arizona State's Holiday Bowl loss.

The Sun Devils will wear the big pitchfork maroon helmet with the jersey number on the opposite side for the first time this season on Saturday. This helmet was unveiled last season against USC. The date for when they'll wear their new "Desert Fuel" uniforms that were announced last month hasn't been determined.

With Saturday's uniforms set in stone, we can look ahead to the blackout uniforms that the Sun Devils will don in their prime-time showdown against UCLA on September 25th, with a maroon monsoon following a couple of weeks later when Stanford comes to town.

New uniform patches were also announced Thursday. Players who carry the "scholar baller" moniker will wear the patches seen below on their jerseys during games.
