According to Jeff Metcalfe of the AZCentral, the budget for the plans to redesign Sun Devil Stadium and the surrounding area will increase from an estimate of $210-225 million to $256 million and include a new building for athletes.

The new building will be 85,400 square feet and the fundraising goal for the redesign will increase from $50 million to $85 million according to the report. The building will be located at the north end of the stadium. From Metcalfe's story:

Final plans for the student-athletic facility are not yet made, including how much of it will be for football and how much for other athletes. It will be integrated into the stadium and include office/administrative spaces, meeting rooms, support space, study rooms, storage/equipment space, locker rooms plus lounge, training and conferences areas.

The new building will open up space at the Carson Center at the south end of the stadium, which is now close to capacity use. ASU's current space for athlete academic services is among the lowest in the Pac-12.

This comes on the heels of both Todd Graham and Ray Anderson donating a combined $1 million to the momentum campaign fund. Arizona State will continue to play in the stadium throughout the redesign which is scheduled to be completed by August 2017.
