Just hours before No. 15 Arizona State takes on No.11 UCLA, athlete Jaason Lewis committed to play football for the Sun Devils.

Lewis is a member of the class of 2015 and is ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports, but a three-star recruit according to ESPN. He was originally committed to UCLA but backed off his commitment in May and reopened his recruitment.

Lewis stands 6-foot-4, weighs 241 pounds and runs a 4.71 40-yard dash according to ESPN. He calls Virginia Beach, Virginia home and was also fielding offers from numerous Division I schools including LSU, Miami (FL), Ole Miss and Nebraska. ESPN ranked Lewis as the No. 45 best athlete in the country and No. 16 in Virginia.

He took his official visit to Arizona State last week on Sept. 19 according to 247Sports. Lewis is the 12th member of the Sun Devils 2015 recruiting class. He joins Alfred Smith and Morie Evans as the other athletes in the class.
