Arizona State announced that it will wear its traditional road look of the gold helmet with maroon pitchfork, white jersey with maroon numbers and gold pants against New Mexico Saturday.

This is the second uniform the Sun Devils have worn in as many games this season. The team wore their traditional gold helmet, maroon jersey and gold pants against Weber State at home in week one. The Sun Devils are 8-3 in the gold helmet since the 2011 season.

The Arizona State football recruiting department also put out this quick video of the uniform. The The team only repeated a uniform combination once last year when they returned to the traditional gold helmet, maroon jersey and gold pants look in the Pac-12 Championship Game which they also wore against Sacramento State.

The  "Desert Fuel" uniform is the new option this season which includes an anthracite (grey) base color with copper integrated throughout the design. The team has yet to announce in which game they will wear those uniforms.

The known uniform combinations for this season are the blackout vs. UCLA on Sept. 25, the maroon monsoon vs. Stanford on Oct. 18, and the traditional gold helmet, maroon jersey and gold pants vs. Washington State on Nov. 22.
