Stanley "Scrappy" Norman, a four-star athlete from Gardena, California committed to the Sun Devils during the U.S. Army All-America game Saturday afternoon.
Norman didn't indicate anything about ASU, but the recruiting services Scout, Rivals, and 247Sports were all indicating he would pledge to the Sun Devils. When the time to choose his school came around, Norman pulled off his U.S. Army jersey to reveal an ASU jersey with "Scrappy" on the back.
He stands 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds and held offers from a long list of power five conference schools which included Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
Norman is a consensus four-star recruit and the Sun Devils 20th commitment of the 2015 class. He's the fourth athlete to join Todd Graham's class which already included athletes Morie Evans, Jaason Lewis and Alfred Smith.
