The Arizona State Sun Devils had four players taken in the 2015 NFL Draft—the most representing the school since 2008.
Ahead of the 2015-16 season, there was some attention being shown from the draftnik community for a few players from the Sun Devils once again. Justin Higdon (@afc2nfc) of DraftBreakdown.com wrote a preview back in July that includes short overviews of 11 draft-eligible players out of ASU.
Circumstances have shifted and impeded most, if not all of the anticipation for these players. However, while this year's group doesn't appear to have a chance at producing as many highly-regarded draftees selected in earlier rounds, there are a number of players who will be considered as Day 2 and Day 3 picks.
Below, we've compiled information and thoughts regarding this year's potential Sun Devils in the NFL from popular pundits like Bleacher Report's Matt Miller to the unresting community of #DraftTwitter.
Christian Westerman, OG - (Senior-RS)

Matt Miller/Bleacher Report: Westerman was mocked to the Buffalo Bills (round 2, pick 23) in Miller's October 5th mock.

#DraftTwitter Appreciation: High. Westerman's play has been the topic of discussion as recently as Oct. 10. Very rarely is there anything negative said of the 300-pound mammoth, as his strength and run-blocking prowess are highly touted.
Overview: Westerman's play hasn't been the reason for the ASU offensive line's struggles. It appears his stout blocking ability and strength (he was on Bruce Feldman's "Freaks" list) will ensure he is drafted in 2016.
D.J. Foster, WR - Senior

#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Low. Foster entered the season as a Heisman candidate who was expected to be the focal point of the offense. However, his transition has appeared to not only had a negative impact on his college career, but his NFL prospects, as well. He's proven to be elusive, but the debate continues to rage on regarding whether he is best served as a running back or as a slot receiver.
Overview: Foster's selfless decision to move to receiver was supposed to have been a benefit to him, but has yet to be the case. He figures to be a mid-round pick and will need a strong second half showing and/or great combine outing to improve his stock.
Lloyd Carrington, CB - (Senior-RS)
Measurables

Optimum Scouting | No. 25 CB | n/a | UDFA | Sept. 25 |
Ourlads | n/a | n/a | 4th-6th | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Low. It's a great year for cornerback talent in the NFL Draft. As a former basketball player, Carrington is regarded for his leaping ability and scrappiness, but is also a technician whose mental game helps make up for a lack of top-end speed.
Overview: Carrington isn't the fastest, but his sound play should earn him a chance to be drafted.
Vi Teofilo, OG - (Senior-RS)
Measurables
Height | Weight |
6'3" | 304-315 lbs |
Rankings
Site/Pundit | Position Rank | Overall Rank | Projected Round | Last Update |

Optimum Scouting | No. 5 OG | n/a | n/a | Sept. 25 |
Ourlads | n/a | n/a | 4th-6th | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Low. Teofilo is as strong as an ox, but isn't quite as consistent as his teammate Westerman, who has garnered nearly all of the attention this season from the online scouting universe.
Overview: Like Westerman, Teofilo's strength is his brute strength. He should be a serviceable run blocker at the next level, and as of now appears to be in good position to be drafted in 2016.
Jordan Simone, S - (Senior-RS)
Measurables

Optimum Scouting | No. 17 S | n/a | 7th | Sept. 25 |
Ourlads | n/a | n/a | 4th-6th | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Low. Simone entered the year as a player of interest, but is viewed as being a box safety whose lone strength is stopping the run and playing near the line of scrimmage.
Overview: Simone's athleticism remains his weakness, however his tackle volume and leadership make him worth a look on Day 3.
Antonio Longino LB - (Senior-RS)
Measurables
Height | Weight |
6'2" | 230 lbs |
Rankings
Site/Pundit | Position Rank | Overall Rank | Projected Round | Last Update |

Optimum Scouting | No. 9 ILB | n/a | 7th | Sept. 25 |
Ourlads | n/a | n/a | 7th-UDFA | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Low. Longino is documented as being one of the best run-stoppers in the nation. He's seen time out on the edge as well as inside during his college career, but it looks as though he's being seen as an inside linebacker at the next level--one of the most talented groups in this year's class.
Overview: Longino should hear his name called in 2016. He's proven he can defend against the run, and if he can settle into a role at the next level, he could end up developing into a nice steal.
Mike Bercovici, QB - (Senior-RS)
Measurables
Height | Weight |
6'0"-6'1" | 205-210 lbs |
Rankings
Site/Pundit | Position Rank | Overall Rank | Projected Round | Last Update |

Optimum Scouting | n/a | n/a | n/a | n/a |
Ourlads | n/a | n/a | 7th-UDFA | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Very Low. Even after playing well in place of Taylor Kelly last season, Bercovici's name has been a relative unknown in the online scouting community.
Overview: Bercovici has a cannon for an arm, but his stature and inconsistent accuracy remain key flaws that steer many away from him. Still, he has a shot at getting drafted, but he'd have to play very well over the next couple of weeks.
Nick Kelly, C - (Senior)
Measurables
Height | Weight |
6'2"-6'3" | 295 lbs |
Rankings

Optimum Scouting | n/a | n/a | n/a | n/a |
Ourlads | No. 13 C | n/a | 7th-UDFA | n/a |
#DraftTwitter Appreciation: Very Low. Kelly is lodged between two mid-round prospects, but hasn't played very well this season. He's generated little-to-no discussion.
Overview: Kelly is viewed as a potential priority free-agent, but improvement over the second half of the season could mean he finds a team on Day 3 of the draft.
Other Sun Devils (rankings by CBS Sports)
Kweishi Brown, CB (Senior) - 5'11", 206 lbs; No. 40 CB, No. 389 overall
Mo Latu, DT (Senior-RS) - 6'2", 387 lbs; No. 41 DT, No. 580 overall
Devin Lucien, WR (Senior-RS) - 6'1", 200 lbs; No. 82 WR, No. 637 overall
Gary Chambers, WR (Senior-RS) - 6'3", 211 lbs; No. 102 WR, No. 763 overall
William McGehee, OT (Senior-RS) - 6'5", 312 lbs; No. 68 OT, No. 939 overall
