ASU Football: Jaelen Strong dominates Twitter and Thursday Night Football with two touchdown catches

Well that first catch sure looked familiar.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Former Arizona State wide receiver Jaelen Strong has had a quiet start to his NFL career. Strong did not play in the Houston Texans season opener and has been a healthy scratch the past two weeks.

Well, with Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts both injured and not playing in Week 4, Strong had his chance to shine, and shine he did.

His first career NFL catch was a 42-yard touchdown reception on the final play of the first half. A play that has appropriately been named the Jael Mary II.

For an encore, Strong caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Brian Hoyer in the third quarter to bring the Texans within three points in their game against the Colts.

In his first career NFL action, Strong has caught two passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns.

Here is how Sun Devil nation responded on Twitter.
