Your weekly look at the slate of games in the Pac-12 Conference
Arizona Wildcats (6-5, 3-5 in Pac-12) @ Arizona State Sun Devils (5-5, 3-4)
The Wildcats enter with some momentum coming off of a surprise win over Utah. Meanwhile, the Sun Devils managed to drop 27 unanswered points after trailing by 17 points early on.
We'd like to consider determining a winner in this one as being as unpredictable as flipping a coin.
Prediction: Arizona 26, ASU 33
No. 24 USC Trojans (7-3, 5-2) @ No. 23 Oregon Ducks (7-3, 5-2)
While we expected this matchup to be competitive so late in the season, it's disappointing to see it doesn't hold any College Football Playoff implications.
Still, two talented teams will face off in Eugene this weekend, and we have reason to believe that a hot Oregon team continues their run at home.
Prediction: USC 38, Oregon 48
UCLA Bruins (7-3, 4-3) @ No. 13 Utah Utes (8-2, 5-2)
Considering the thriller these two programs provided us when they met last year and their current standing now, it could be another close one this weekend.
Utah inexplicably fell to Arizona last weekend, but UCLA also squandered a last-minute advantage in devastating fashion.
Who has the better bounce back?
Prediction: UCLA 27, Utah 13
Washington Huskies (4-6, 2-5) @ Oregon State Beavers (2-8, 0-7)
A late-season contest between the two teams featuring the most underclassmen in their starting lineups (12)—what's not to like?
Oregon State has suffered through conference play, and while Washington has flashed potential, the Huskies haven't had much more success in the win column.
It should make for an interesting one.
Prediction: Washington 28, Oregon State 13
California Golden Bears (6-4, 3-4) @ No. 11 Stanford Cardinal (8-2, 7-1)
Cal hasn't had any success lately in this matchup, and in the midst of their poor run, they're faced with a Cardinal team coming off of a brutal loss.
History repeats itself in this one.
Prediction: Cal 20, Stanford 45
Colorado Buffaloes (4-7, 1-6) @ Washington State Cougars (7-3, 5-2)
Washington State has proven to be a legitimate contender this season, and last week's win over UCLA in the closing seconds is reason to believe so.
Still, Colorado hasn't necessarily been a pushover this season. Will the Buffs challenge the Cougs in pursuit of a bowl bid?
Prediction: Colorado 24, Washington State 37
