Pac-12 Football: Week 13 Preview

The Conference of Champions finishes its regular season schedule with some historic rivalries.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

No. 20 Washington State Cougars @ Washington Huskies

The Cougars have had a very impressive season. Meanwhile, we watched a young Huskies group flash its potential amidst some bumps and roads over the course of the year. If Luke Falk is good to go, the Cougars should be the favorite to win, however considering how stout the Huskies defense has been, and can be, this won't be an easy win by any stretch.

Prediction: Washington State 34, Washington 24

Oregon State Beavers @ No. 17 Oregon Ducks

The Ducks have been rolling. After showing some fight at the start of the year, the Beavers have hit a low point, having averaged just 11.2 points over their last five games.

Vegas has the in-form Ducks winning by 36, if you needed any more convincing.

Prediction: Oregon State 14, Oregon 55

Colorado Buffaloes @ No. 23 Utah Utes

The Buffs need some help, but it is possible to earn a bowl bid with five wins, as fellow House of Sparky writer Connor Pelton has discussed before.

Still, in Colorado's way stands Utah, still without their best player and fresh off of a loss to Washington.

Prediction: Colorado 20, Utah 23

No. 22 UCLA Bruins @ USC Trojans

The winner of the Victory Bell will determine who also goes on to represent the Pac-12 South in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

USC couldn't stop Oregon's offense from doing whatever it wanted. Will Josh Rosen be able to do the same?

Prediction: UCLA 29, USC 31

No. 6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ No. 9 Stanford Cardinal

This matchup could end up having College Football Playoff implications should things align correctly. The Fighting Irish are in search of a second signature win as they sit just outside of the top four. Meanwhile, Stanford is hoping for a miraculous series of losses ahead of them to slip in, although it's very unlikely, even if they pull away with the win this weekend.

Prediction: Notre Dame 24, Stanford 35

Arizona State Sun Devils @ California Golden Bears

Both teams enter in search of their seventh win of the year.

All eyes will be on Golden Bears signal caller Jared Goff, as the Sun Devils will provide him with plenty of pressure in hopes of forcing him into mistakes. It should be a fun matchup to close the season.

Prediction: Arizona State 27, Cal 24
