Arizona State Sun Devils quarterback Mike Bercovici was named the 2015 Pac-12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Tuesday night in its awards show on Pac-12 Networks.

Bercovici, who graduated from Arizona State in 2014 with a B.S. in business management, is currently enrolled in the University's Sports Law and Business Master's program with a grade-point average higher than a 3.0. Bercovici is also a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree.

The Pac-12 annually recognizes a Scholar-Athlete of the Year in each sport, recognizing a student-athlete's success both in the academics and athletics.

This is the second year in a row an Arizona State quarterback has won this award. Taylor Kelly, Bercovici's predecessor, won the 2014 Pac-12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award and is currently a classmate of Bercovici in Arizona State's Sports Law and Business program.

The conference honored Bercovici Tuesday night while naming recipients of other player of the year awards for the 2015 regular season. Earlier Tuesday, the Pac-12 released its all-conference teams, with offensive lineman Christian Westerman the lone Sun Devil to be named on either the First or Second Teams.
