Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

As the regular season for the Arizona State Sun Devils has come to a close the recruiting season heats up. National Signing Day is less than two months away and Arizona State coaches have been on the road most of the last two weeks before the dead period begins this weekend.

Here is a round up of where ASU coaches have been and who they have been visiting.

Sun Devils in on nation's No. 1 running back

Kareem Walker, the No. 1 ranked running back in the country, is nearing a decision. Before he makes his announcement, the New Jersey native will visit Arizona State this weekend.

Sun Devil coaches visited Walker at his home on December 7.

Most expect Walker to announce for Michigan next week and his other finalists include Florida State and Auburn.

JUCO OT Target Tyson Rising

With four seniors set to graduate along the offensive line, Arizona State is in need of some instant impact offensive linemen. ASU is targeting Venture College OT Tyson Rising.

Rising has 14 scholarship offers including Oregon, Fresno State, Colorado, Houston, Boise State and Nevada among others. Rising is taking an official visit to Oregon this weekend.

Coaches Visit 5-star DE Terrell Hall

Hall is good friends with RB target Kareem Walker and ASU coaches paid him a visit on December 8. Hall is ranked as the No. 1 weakside defensive end and No. 14 overall player in the nation according to Rivals.

The Sun Devils are battling with some of the top programs in the nation as coaches from Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Michigan State and UCLA are all targeting Hall, according to Rivals.

Because of the dead period, after this weekend ASU coaches cannot make in person contact with perspective recruits until the middle of January.

Here is a look at ASU's current class, which currently ranks No. 21 in the nation according to the 247 Sports Composite.
