It's amazing what one recruiting trip can do. Arizona State received a pair of commitments from two JUCO offensive linemen Monday night, who struck up a friendship on their visits to Tempe.

Offensive tackle Tyson Rising (6-5, 290) out of Ventura C.C. committed Monday evening almost simultaneously with the pledge of A.J. McCollum (6-2, 280), a center out of City College of San Francisco.
Both linemen are rated as three-star recruits, and chose the Sun Devils after spending their visit together.
While we were on the phone with @AJ_McCollum ASU also got a commitment from Tyson Rising. Two connected on visits. https://t.co/1BKhKLm772

Rising chose the Sun Devils over Colorado, Washington State and numerous Mountain West offers and is ranked by 247 Sports as the 17th best junior college offensive tackle in the nation, while McCollum flipped on a previous verbal to California to sign with ASU and is ranked as the best JUCO center in the nation by 247 Sports.
Both players will enroll this coming semester and be eligible to spend spring practice acclimating to the system while ASU breaks in a new quarterback and reinvented offensive line.
Below are highlights of both Rising and McCollum.
