The Sun Devils have brought on another player for their 2016 recruiting class, bringing the total to six. Right winger Tyler Maltby announced his commitment to the Arizona State Sun Devils via Twitter on Saturday.

The 6-foot-4 19-year-old is currently playing for the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In 32 games this season, Maltby has put together 26 goals and 11 assists. Last season with Sherwood, he put up 16 goals and 16 points in 60 games and had eight points in 10 playoff games.
Maltby brings size and scoring to the Sun Devils' lineup. He joins Joey Daccord, Brett Gruber, Georgy Gorodetsky and Jakob Romo as the group heading to Tempe next season.
The 19-year-old also played as part of the Canada West Under-19 team, playing in four game and putting up three points. Maltby has played for Sherwood Park at every level, including the last two seasons in the AJHL.
