Sun Devils hold off Cal State Bakersfield for 75-59 win - Bobby Hurley's team finished the nonconference portion of its schedule last night with a 16-point victory against Cal State Bakersfield.

The Roadrunners stuck with a low-energy Arizona State team for the majority of the game before the Sun Devils finally pulled away. Point guard Tra Holder led all scorers with 23 points in the win.

ASU Football

Suntec Concrete released some new aerial photos of the Sun Devil Stadium renovation yesterday, and it looks...different. It looks as if the construction crews are currently polishing up the west side of the stadium.

ASU Men's Basketball

This piece on head coach Bobby Hurley focuses on the growing power that he has in Tempe. Grouping the fact that he is one of the top young coaches in the game with the decent situation that former coach Herb Sendek left behind, the maroon and gold are already ahead of the curve as far as rebuilding goes. If Hurley continues to recruit well, the next few seasons should be very intriguing.

ASU Women's Basketball

The men's hoops team was not the only one wrapping up its nonconference slate yesterday. The No. 17 ranked Lady Sun Devils finished in fashion as well, easily getting by Cal State Northridge to improve to 9-3 on the season.
