After offensive coordinator Mike Norvell left the Arizona State Sun Devils Thursday to become the new head coach of the Memphis Tigers, there was some concern whether his departure would take a hit on ASU's 2016 recruiting class.
Several recruits reiterated their commitments to Arizona State through Twitter.
Five-star wide receiver and top Arizona high school recruit N'Keal Harry:
Four-star athlete and Harry's Chandler High teammate, Chase Lucas:
My decision for college won't change I'm a Sun Devil all the way I wish Coach Norvell success at Memphis— ChaseLucas#⃣2⃣ (@Chase_Lucas2) December 4, 2015
Three-star wide receiver Kyle Williams:
Three-star cornerback Robbie Robinson:
Three-star running back Tre Turner:
Coach Norvell's decision does not affect my commitment to ASU! I wish Coach Norvell the best and I can't wait to be a Sun Devil! #ForksUp— Tre' Turner (@D1_Tre) December 4, 2015
Current ASU running back Demario Richard also spent part of his Tuesday evening checking up on recruits to make sure they were still on board:
