ASU received its first football commitment in its 2016 class Thursday night in the form of Hunter Kampmoyer who committed via his Twitter account.

He hails from Bishop, California and stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 235 pounds. He's a three-star recruit and No. 97 in the state of California according to Rivals. He was also fielding offers from Boise State, Arizona, Utah State and Washington according to Rivals.

Tommy Hudson and Raymond Epps were the Sun Devils two tight ends signed in the 2015 class. Jay Jay Wilson is also listed at the tight end spot on the ASU roster. Redshirt junior Kody Kohl and redshirt sophomore Grant Martinez also return for the Sun Devils next season.
