St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) offensive guard Zach Robertson has signed and faxed his national letter of intent, making his commitment to the Sun Devils official.
Robertson is rated as a 4-star prospect by both ESPN and Rivals. ESPN ranks him as the nation's 21st guard and the 278th best player in the country. Rivals ranks the offensive guard as the country's No. 16 guard and the 206th best player in the nation.
At 6-foot-5, 305 pounds, Robertson boasts excellent size and only has room to grow into his frame. Robertson will most likely stay at offensive guard in college.
The 247 Sports composite also ranks Robertson has a 4-star prospect and the No. 247 player in the nation. He fielded offers from Arkansas, California, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, UCLA, USC and Utah. He committed to Arizona State the day after Christmas and reaffirmed his verbal commitment a few weeks later.
Robertson will likely redshirt in 2015, however with an ACL injury to Vi Teofilo, a starting spot along the offensive line has opened up. With how highly rated Robertson is, he may have the ability to compete for a starting job from day one.
