Note: Durant is already on campus taking classes as an early enrollee

Durant is the No. 8 JUCO prospect in the nation at his position, and comes from Butler County Community College. He had three sacks and three tackles-for-loss on the season.

Durant de-committed from South Carolina and was mulling offers from Florida State, Georgia and Texas A&M, according to ASUDevils.com. Durant is one of the highest anticipated recruits in the 2015 class for the Sun Devils and could play a host of positions.

Durant is a four-star recruit according to both Rivals and 247sports.com. JC Shurburtt of 247sports.com had this to say about Durant leaving South Carolina in this article:

Durant has a clearer path to enroll at ASU in January than he does at South Carolina because of different requirements for junior college transfers from each conference.

That being said, the Gamecocks have been aware of his academic situation since accepting a commitment from him last summer. Arizona State continued to work him behind the scenes and had the standout linebacker in for a visit over the summer.

Durant is the third linebacker recruit in the 2015 class, joining Thomas and Malik Lawal.
