ASU came in third Pac-12 men's golf championships Wednesday, defeating Arizona who came in ninth and ensuring the Territorial Cup series trophy would remain in Tempe for another year.
Arizona won the series in the first three years of its existence, the 2012-13 trophy remains in dispute over men's indoor track, and the Sun Devils have now won each of the past two seasons.
While the series isn't over this season, ASU now has the 10.5 points needed to clinch the trophy.
The Sun Devils took the full points in men and women's track, men and women's cross country, baseball, women's basketball, women's tennis, softball, women's soccer and golf. ASU also took half a point in men's basketball when they upset Arizona at Wells Fargo Arena.
Arizona won its points in football, women's volleyball, women's gymnastics, sand volleyball, men's and women's swimming, half point in men's basketball and women's golf.
The only points left to be decided are men's and women's outdoor track.
