The Arizona State Sun Devils picked up a commitment from JUCO defensive back J'Marcus Rhodes Sunday night. Rhodes plays at Kilgore Junior College in Texas, and committed to ASU while on an official visit to the school over the weekend.

Rhodes began his career as a wide receiver at SMU, however he transferred from the school after redshirting his first season in Dallas. In his first season at Kilgore, Rhodes compiled 32 tackles, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles and three interceptions in 2014.

Scout and Rivals both rank Rhodes as a 3-star prospect. 247 sports ranks him much higher, as they see the 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back as the No. 1 JUCO cornerback as the country and the nation's sixth best junior college player.

Rhodes had reported offers from Iowa State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Utah and Colorado. He plans to enroll in December and participate in spring practice come 2016.

Just a reminder that commitments at this time are strictly verbal and non-binding until the prospect signs on the dotted line. Below are highlights of Rhodes.
