Daily Devil Dish: Lea could face additional discipline from AZ Board of Regents

George Lea violated ASU Conduct Policy - AZ Central's Doug Haller has more details into the actions and potential discipline of ASU DT George Lea. According to his report, Lea is facing first-degree burglary charges, aggravated assault charges and unlawful imprisonment. Aside from those charges, Lea may face additional discipline from the Arizona Board of Regents for violating the school's code of conduct.

ASU Athletics

ASU's Office of Student Development won the Model Practices Award from the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletes (N4A). The award was given because of ASU's Emerging Scholars Program and ASU Senior Associate AD Jean Boyd was named President of N4A for the 2015-2016 academic year.

ASU Women's Basketball

Jeff Metcalfe of azcentral has a look at ASU's 2015-2016 non-conference schedule. The Sun Devils will play Florida State, the team who knocked them out of the 2015 NCAA Tournament, as well as Kentucky, VCU, Cal State Northridge and Syracuse. ASU will also play in a Thanksgiving Tournament in Hawaii.

ASU Baseball

Another former Sun Devil has been called up the major leagues, as Devin Marrero is now apart of the Boston Red Sox. The Sun Devils now have 15 former players who are on active MLB rosters.
