Turners measures 5-foot-10, 190 pounds and hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, an area that the Sun Devils are targeting heavily in recruiting. Turner also field offers from the likes of Arizona, Arkansas, Cal, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
Rivals recruiting ranks Turner as a 4-star prospect and the No. 6 running back in the nation (No. 193 overall). Scout ranks him as the No. 48 running back in the nation and ESPN ranks Turner as the No. 28 running back in the nation (also 4 stars).
Turner is the fifth commitment for the Sun Devils in their 2016 class. He joins Christian Hill (DE), Freddie Holly (RB), Marshal Nathe (OG), D.J. Morgan (S) and Cohl Cabral (OL).
Just a reminder that commitments are just verbal and not binding until the prospect signs on the dotted line in February.
Below are some highlights of Turner.
