Adidas-mania

By now, you should have already given both ASU equipment staff accounts (@SunDevilEquip for football and @ASUEquipment for all other sports) a follow if you're on Twitter. While we haven't seen what any of the sports teams' official Adidas uniforms look like, the always hard-working managers continued to tease Sun Devil Nation with more training gear. Here's most of what @ASUEquipment tweeted Thursday:

Later, the official Sun Devil Athletics account also tweeted this:

House of Sparky Staff Roundtable Part 1: What we want from Adidas - While everyone continues to wait for uniform unveils, three of our staff writers — Shane Theodore, Kaelen Jones and yours truly — gave thoughts of how should Adidas threads look on ASU next year. Part 2 will be released later today.

In related Adidas news, the outfitter released new uniforms for longtime partner UCLA Thursday morning. A huge chunk of the UCLA community, including our sister site Bruins Nation, wasn't happy about the new threads.

Hooray, scholarships

Four ASU student-athletes received $3,000 postgraduate scholarships from the Pac-12 Thursday - wrestling's Chace Eskam, men's swimming's Zac Dalby, women's basketball's Isidora Purkovic, and softball's Haley Steele. The scholarships were awarded based on having a minimum 3.0 grade-point average above and a commitment to continue their education.
