Davon Durant to remain at ASU as student
A day after Todd Graham told Sports Illustrated incoming linebacker Davon Durant was permanently dismissed from the team after being sentenced for his domestic violence case, Durant's attorney, Benjamin Taylor, released the following statement Thursday via Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic:
Mr. Davon Durant is still a student and currently taking classes at Arizona State University. He's taken responsibility and he would like to still remain a student and continue his career.
According to Haller, Durant is currently enrolled in summer courses, but is undergoing a rehearing to appeal his two-year suspension sanctioned by the Arizona Board of Regents.
In related content, The State Press sports editor Stefan Modrich wrote an interesting take on Todd Graham's strict tolerance that's worth reading.

No, we still don't know of an official release date or whether some of these recurring elements will translate onto the teams' uniforms.
NBA Summer League update
There are no more Sun Devils left participating in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League after Jordan Bachynski's Toronto Raptors were eliminated by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of tournament play Thursday. The former ASU center recorded four points and five rebounds in nine minutes off the bench.
The Sacramento Kings, which featured former ASU swingman Shaquielle McKissic starting at shooting guard, were eliminated Wednesday.
