Scout releases 2017 Top-100 - Scout Recruiting released its first full set of rankings for the class of 2017, including its initial top-100. The list features one ASU commit and three Arizona high school players. Alex Perry, a defensive back from Las Vegas, comes in at No. 77 on the list. He is the brother of current ASU corner Armand Perry and is one of two ASU commits for the class of 2017.
Three local recruits with ASU offers made their way into the top-100, including offensive tackle Austin Jackson. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Jackson hails from North Canyon HS in Phoenix and ranks as the No. 9 player nationally in the class of 2017, he currently holds offers from ASU, USC, Auburn, Texas A&M, Oregon, Louisville, Michigan and Utah.
Basha (Chandler, Ariz.) quarterback Ryan Kelly checks in at No. 73 nationally and the No. 6 quarterback recruit in the nation. Finally, Scottsdale Saguaro offensive guard Kayden Lyles, a starter on the offensive line since his freshman season, is ranked No. 88 nationally and the third best guard in the nation.
Graham countdown continues - Our countdown of Todd Graham's 15 best victories at Arizona State continues and yesterday we got to No. 6 on our list. It was the 2013 beatdown of USC that resulted in the firing of Lane Kiffin, on the tarmac at Sky Harbor Airport.
ASU Football
Senior quarterback Mike Bercovici will be a counselor at the prestigious Elite 11 finals beginning on July 5. The camp brings together the top 18 high school quarterbacks in the nation for a competition as apart of Nike's "The Opening" football competition. Bercovici joins a star-studded list of current college quarterbacks serving as counselors.
