Former ASU point guard Jahii Carson, who went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, suffered another setback to his NBA dream this week. The standout from Mesa High announced via Instagram he suffered a foot injury that will sideline him out of NBA Orlando Summer League play with the Magic:

Carson didn't state how serious is his injury. If it heals quickly, he still could have a chance to compete in the Utah and Las Vegas NBA Summer Leagues, which are later in the month.

Meanwhile, former teammate Jordan Bachynski, who was also on the Magic's Summer League White roster with Carson, started at center and finished the game with seven points on 3-for-6 shooting with a block and three fouls.
