Daily Devil Dish: Bachynski in action at NBA Summer League Monday, ASU Swimming honored and more

A former face continues his NBA journey in Orlando today.

Former ASU center Jordan Bachynski will take the court once again today when the Orlando Magic (White) take on the Indiana Pacers at 1 PM ET in the NBA Orlando Summer League. In his first game last week, Bachynski started and recorded seven points and one block in 12 minutes of action. Former ASU teammate Jahii Carson is also on the team alongside Bachynski, however is sidelined due to an injury for the rest of the Orlando Summer League.

Sun Devil football is still in the running for one of the top quarterback prospects of the 2016 class.

The 6-foot-2 Sterling-Cole is a finalist in this year's Elite 11 competition. He is said to be considering ASU, as well as Florida, Texas and Houston, according to 247Sports.com.

Eleven members of ASU's swimming and diving team notched All-American honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Three members were awarded First-Team Scholar Academic Honors for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher.
