Daily Devil Dish: 4-star tight end commits to Sun Devils

Coach Todd Graham received a big commitment on Monday, but that wasn't all on the recruiting front. We break it all down in this edition of the Devil Daily Dish.

Graham best wins countdown - Our countdown of Graham's best victories at ASU concluded yesterday. This win gave Graham his only championship thus far in Tempe and marked the official resurgence of Sun Devil football.

Recruiting news was plentiful on Monday. Along with Middleton's commitment, highly rated Ventura College wide receiver Riley Smith reportedly named the maroon and gold as his top school at the moment. Alabama, USC, Oregon, and Boise State are also in the running for his services.

Cardinal Sports Report also revealed Monday that 4-star defensive back Treyjohn Butler has narrowed his options down to Arizona State, Stanford, and California. He is set to announce his decision prior to the start of his senior season next month.

Former Sun Devil Jordan Bachynski played just four minutes in his second game of the Orlando Summer League yesterday, scoring two points and grabbing one rebound as the Magic (White) rallied late for an 85-76 win against the Pacers.

Bachynski also learned Monday that he was named to the Toronto Raptors summer league squad, which will compete later this month in Las Vegas. Joining him on that team will be his brother, Dallin, who played for Utah while he was with the maroon and gold.
