A few weeks ago, Adidas and ASU revealed the primary uniforms that ASU football will be wearing for the forceable future. Adidas released maroon, gold, white and black jerseys, yet fans wondered what alternate uniforms the Sun Devils would don in 2015.
Well, wait no longer. "Desert Ice" is officially here. After leaking a sneak peak of the uniforms last night, the Sun Devils and Adidas released the full kit to azcentral sports Thursday morning.
The uniform is a combination of "Desert Fuel" and the all white stormtrooper look that ASU released last month, with a base white jersey, helmet and pants, and a copper pitchfork, numbers and lettering.
The biggest change from "Desert Fuel" to "Desert Ice" is the large pitchfork on the helmet instead of the two smaller pitchforks that were displayed last season when the Sun Devils played Notre Dame. The uniforms also feature their own special undershirt featuring a copper state flag.
