College Football is just about here
A week from Saturday, the Arizona State Sun Devils will finally kick off one of its most anticipated seasons against the Texas A&M Aggies in Houston. The FBS season starts Thursday, has a few games Friday and gets into full force on a typical, football-filled Saturday.
But actually, the college football season starts today. ESPN is broadcasting its annual FCS opener between Montana and FCS sensation North Dakota State at 11 a.m. Arizona time with legendary play-by-play man Brent Musberger on the call.

Report: DirecTV to begin carrying Pac-12 Networks — After a three-year impasse, the soap opera between the Pac-12 and DirecTV appears to be over. DirecTV had recently tested Pac-12 Networks broadcasts on channel 612 and seem to be close to a deal with the conference, according to reports. DirecTV is expected to start broadcasting Pac-12 Networks within the next few days, just in time before the FBS season starts.
