ASU Women's Volleyball defeats U of A to open Pac-12 play- To kick off Pac-12 play, the ASU women's volleyball team defeated U of A in four sets to win their 12th straight match this season. The Wildcats entered this matchup ranked 14th in the country, and they are now 10-3 on the season. This 12-0 start is the second best in ASU history, ranking just behind the 21-0 start in 1973.

ASU Men's ice hockey has no room for error- October 3 marks the beginning of ASU's first season as a division-1 ice hockey program. With this great challenge, comes great opportunities for Coach Powers and his squad. Each game presents an opportunity that this team cannot afford to waste.

Football awaits USC- In just a little over 24 hours, the Sun Devils will kick off Pac-12 play by hosting USC. The last time these two met, the famous "Jael Mary" play happened. in their last four meetings, the Sun Devils have defeated the Trojans three times. After a rocky 2-1 start to the season, ASU looks to kick off conference play with a little bit more swag and confidence.
