Head coach Todd Graham and quarterback Mike Bercovici met with the media on Monday, and their message was centered around confidence. While last week's loss was an ugly one, the maroon and gold's ability to recover from adversity in the Graham era has the team's spirits up.

Graham also said in Monday's press conference that he expects running back Kalen Ballage to miss one to two more weeks due to illness. The sophomore was sent home from Houston prior to Saturday's game, and reports from Sunday night indicated that he had contracted mononucleosis.

It wasn't a banner week in the Pac-12, with the conference suffering losses to the likes of Portland State and Hawaii while en route to a 7-5 record in Week 1. Former Sun Devil right fielder Kole Calhoun had himself a day yesterday, surpassing the 70 RBI mark for the season with a two run bomb against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Angels leadoff man has set personal records in both home runs and RBIs in 2015 and is currently hitting at a .268 clip.
