ASU Women's basketball

Arizona State's winning streak is now up to 12 after a home sweep of Colorado and Utah, and the team was once again rewarded in the latest AP poll. Charli Turner Thorne has the Lady Sun Devils all the way up to No. 8 in the country, ranking higher than any other Pac-12 team.

Next up for the team is the Territorial Cup weekend series, which will see Arizona and Arizona State meet on Friday in Tempe and on Sunday in Tucson.

Former Sun Devils

Former maroon and gold cornerback Omar Bolden is out for the remainder of the NFL playoffs after suffering a PCL injury on Sunday. Bolden, who had seen the majority of his playing time come in the form of returning kicks, hurt his knee in Denver's win against the Steelers. Although the injury won't require surgery, he will still be placed on the Broncos injured reserve list.

ASU Football

Four-star athlete Beau Bisharat decomitted from Stanford on Monday and officially re-opened his recruitment. The Carmichael, Calif., product was considering Arizona State before committing to the Cardinal back in May, so the Sun Devils figure to be a candidate once again to land the running back/linebacker.

College Basketball

Oregon State forward Jarmal Reid was in the news this weekend after appearing to intentionally trip official Tommy Nunez in a game at Utah. The hammer dropped on Reid yesterday when it was announced he would be suspended for four games because of his actions. That suspension will include Oregon State's January 28 game against the Sun Devils in Tempe.
