Daily Devil Dish: Sun Devils play in Senior Bowl while No. 8 WBB, Gym find success in Oregon

Here's to a fun week in Sun Devil athletics.

ASU Football

Westerman, Foster represent ASU at 2016 Reese's Senior Bowl - Offensive lineman Christian Westerman and reconverted running back D.J. Foster were the lone Arizona State players at this year's Senior Bowl. Westerman and the South team were the victors over Foster and the North, winning the game 27-16. It was a strong week for Westerman, as he drew plenty of rave reviews and held his own during the contest.

Sun Devil Hoops Hosts RPI Heavyweight Oregon at 6:30 p.m. Sunday - Fresh off a conference win against Oregon State, the Sun Devils will look to earn another one when they face the Oregon Ducks tonight at Wells Fargo Arena at 6:30 p.m. MST.

Women's Basketball

No. 8 WBB Defeats Oregon 63-58; Matches School Record with 15th straight win - The Sun Devils have now won 15 straight and rank No. 8 in the nation. They continue to prove they are a national contender as they edge into the second half of the season.

ASU Hockey

Sun Devil Hockey Drops Series Finale to No. 8 Mass Lowell - Hockey will complete Division I play today against Merrimack following the 8-1 loss.

ASU Gymnastics

Gym Devils Take Second at Oregon State - Next, the team will take on Stanford following a strong showing in Corvallis.

ASU Track & Field

Sun Devils Place First in 6 of 8 Events at Flagstaff - Tim White took first in the high-jump on Saturday, as the Sun Devils put on quite the performance at the Mountain T's Invitational.
