The second half of the season is here.
There were some close calls for the conference’s leaders on Saturday, but at the end of the day there were no defeats for the teams at the top of each division.
Below, Kaelen Jones and I break everything down in our weekly set of Pac-12 power rankings.
Pac-12 North
Rank | Pelton | Jones |
1. | Washington | Washington |
2. | Washington State | Washington State |
3. | Stanford | Stanford |
4. | California | California |
5. | Oregon State | Oregon State |
6. | Oregon | Oregon |
Closer Look
It's still early, but Washington and Washington State appear to be headed for a de facto Pac-12 North Championship game when the two teams meet in the Apple Cup on November 25. Just as the Huskies and Cougars were unanimous picks atop the division, Kaelen and I also agreed on picks three-six.
Pac-12 South
Rank | Pelton | Jones |
1. | Utah | USC |
2. | USC | Utah |
3. | Colorado | Colorado |
4. | Arizona State | Arizona State |
5. | UCLA | UCLA |
6. | Arizona | Arizona |
Closer Look
The hot play of USC has it on top of one of our South Division ballots, while Utah remains in first on the other. Arizona State is now the unanimous fourth place pick in the South after suffering a blowout defeat at the hands of Colorado.
