Lawrence, a 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward from Providence, R.I., is an ESPN Top 100 prospect and is the No. 54-overall rated recruit in the country, according to the ESPN database.
He selected ASU over both USC and Florida.

Lawrence is now the second commitment ASU head coach Bobby Hurley has secured for his 2017 recruiting class, with the first being point guard Remy Martin. Both, however, have only made verbal commitments and are free to look elsewhere prior to signing their letters of intent.
More impressively, Lawrence is now the fourth ESPN Top 100 recruit Hurley has captured since arriving in Tempe, joining Sam Cunliffe, Jethro Tshisumpa, and Romello White.
Below are highlights of the Sun Devils’ latest addition.
